Very much the social side of Bike Tours UK. For those keen to dip their toe into the murky world of motorcycle holidays, here is an ideal opportunity to come and meet us, plus it’s a great excuse to get my regulars back together for a pleasant day’s ride, then a pint of two in a fine country pub. We’ll meet up on Friday night at the Inn, then ride just a moderate 100 miles or so around the Derbyshire Peak District on Saturday before returning to our homely accommodation on Saturday night for a hearty meal. Very laid back. Very friendly. Riders often this opportunity to experience for the first time, the organised chaos that is Bike Tours UK. If you like how we do things, you may find yourself drawn the the more adventurous trips we do, such as the Alps, Iceland or Nepal. People often choose this a gift option for a biking friend, spouse or relative. See more detail under the photos…..
The chance to experience a short taster of what Bike Tours UK can offer. It’s a manageable day’s ride through the nicest parts of England’s first National Park, flowed by a convivial soiree in a country pub with roaring log fire. It’s great for newcomers, plus also a great opportunity for repeat guests to come back for a re-union with long lost biking buddies and to plan their next adventure together. We will adjust the itinerary to suit our riders. There will be a separate route for Road Bikes, and a different guide to lead those who fancy doing some easy Green lanes on Adventure Bikes or Trail Bikes. My plan is to book all rooms in a small country pub. It’s possible there will be a trail ride on Friday afternoon for those who want it, then a road ride planned for all day Saturday. Meet at the pub Friday night, or Saturday morning. There are only a limited number of places on this weekend. There are just 4 rooms. Normally it’s a twin room share basis, but single occupancy can be arranged if needed. Suggested dates 21st to 23rd April 2017. Please get in touch for more detail. By email or phone 0115 846 2993
